My Approach
I take a whole person approach to care, recognizing how eating patterns, movement, stress, emotions, sleep, and relationship to food all influence health and wellbeing. I blend evidence-based nutrition science with integrative approaches that meet you where you’re at and honor both body and mind.
I practice from a non-diet, weight-inclusive standpoint, meaning my work is not focused on weight loss or achieving a specific body size. Instead, I help clients establish flexible, sustainable food and movement patterns that support wellbeing, nourishment, and medical needs. Recommendations are individualized and based on health status and individual goals, and in some cases may include restoring adequate nutrition as part of healing and recovery.
My approach is relational and compassion driven- if something isn’t working, we adjust without judgment and explore what might be getting in the way.
Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder, a GI condition, or another health concern that is impacting how you nourish yourself, my goal is to help you better understand your nutrition needs and find a more compassionate relationship with food and body.
